    CollegeSPARC Alerts Module

Identify risk and enable timely intervention.

An institution-defined risk model, academic and survey data, and concerns raised by staff combine into a single record of concern per student, routed to a success coach who works an assigned caseload through a heat-map dashboard and structured success plans.

Alerts support in a university setting

The risk model is the institution's, not the vendor's

Administrators define the categories, the criteria under them, the weight of each criterion, and the score bands that map to Low, Medium and High. Nothing about the definition of “at risk” is hard-wired by us.

Every score is explainable line by line

A score is stored with its component criteria, so a coach can see which criteria drove the total and talk the student through it instead of quoting an opaque number.

Academic and self-reported signals feed one record

Grades, credit progress, failed courses, graduation-plan status, LMS participation recency and career-declaration timing sit alongside the student's own survey answers on well-being and access to resources.

    04

Concerns do not need a survey or a batch run

Staff can raise a concern on a student immediately, with a description and a chosen level, and it appears in the same alert stream coaches already work.

    05

Intervention is attached to the alert

Coach assignment, success plans and tasks live on the student's risk detail page, so a flag turns into an owner and a next step rather than a line in a report.
