    CollegeSPARC Career Module

Connect student interests, skills and career pathways.

A guided path through four questions who am I, which careers fit, which major, and what do I do each semester where every option is described with real labour-market data, and the answer feeds back into the student's academic plan.

Career support in a university setting

A single guided path, not a set of tools

The assessment dashboard sequences self-discovery, then opens career, job-role and degree exploration filtered by what the assessments actually found.

Conversations grounded in data, not impressions

Every occupation page carries employment levels, earnings, similar careers and required knowledge and skills for a chosen location, so advising discussions start from evidence.

Skill gaps visible before the student commits

he alignment view puts a student's self-rated knowledge and skills next to the requirements of a target occupation, turning “is this right for me?” into a concrete list of what to build.

    Career intent becomes institutional data

A declared target career is stored once and shared with the home dashboard, retention calculations and institutional reporting, so it can be measured and acted on rather than guessed at.

    05

The data source is a licensing decision

Live regional wage, hiring demand, and skill data mapped to academic majors.Occupation content is served through a provider layer, so an institution runs on the source it is licensed for — Lightcast or a hosted O*NET catalogue — and can change it later without changing the student experience.
